Bittersweet day for me today... So sad to say goodbye to my very first car of over 9 years. My civic was beyond good to me but it's time to move on and I am now a proud owner of a mommy vehicle! 

So thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I feel as though I am a very thankful and blessed person. But Friday evening was another reminder to give thanks everyday even in the smallest things. My sister in law and I were is a slight car accident. We were stopped at a red traffic light just waiting and talking when all of a sudden... BAM, we flung forward. The noise was so loud I still cannot get over the minimal damage to my car. Within a few seconds of realizing what just happened and not yet seeing the damage, I couldn't help but burst into tears and all that I had running through my mind was the tiny baby still growing in my belly and if the baby was ok? Such a scary and horrible feeling. My sis took action as I was in shock. She thankfully took all the drivers info down and insisted on me calling the health link. We did and of course they recommend us going into the hospital within the next 4 hours. Needless to say we were at the new hospital (by the way its so beautiful inside, not so scary either) that night and was being monitored for a while just to make sure baby was ok. Thank GOD all of us are doing well. I truly didn't realize how much I care for and love this baby already. I am beyond excited for January (being a new year) the arrival of LBD and to meet this precious gift! Baby Dell I love you so much, words cannot describe!

I am going back to my NO Facebook Thursdays. Well after today as I was already on it this morning. This video was a great reminder today for me. I of course will still take pictures (cause that's just me) but I will enjoy my life more and not obsess about watching everyone's life unfold daily over FB. I have an amazing life filled with love from the best family and friends ever to enjoy! So blessed!!

1st wedding anniversary!!!

July 7th/2013 it has been already one year from our wedding day, wow! What more perfect day to announce our next new adventure in life... We are expecting a baby in January 2014! We are beyond excited and have so much love for baby Dell! ❤ We continue to pray for the baby to be healthy!!! 

Proud to be Calgarian & Albertan!

Wow, what our city and province has been through the past few days. I have never seen such a scenario like this in my life. We had major flooding in our beautiful province. It's unreal and devastating the impact the water has taken on. I must say how proud and wonderful it is to see people coming together and willing to lend a helping hand. Calgary is amazing and we sure have some loving, selfless citizens. There is going to be so much cleanup to do once the water has completely gone back down. I personally can't wait to volunteer to do what I can. Here are some photos of our Calgary under water.

Love never fails.

Reality has set in. Missing you Nan Hobbs so very much. The timing may not have worked out in my eyes but God had another plan. I feel blessed to have all the beautiful memories of you stored in me forever. You are not only for me but for our entire family and everyone who ever had the privilege to know you, you have the utmost respect anyone could ever have... you have changed our lives forever. You were always so loving, positive, funny, beautiful inside and out and one of the strongest women I had the honor to have as my grandmother. I long to be as strong as you nan.
